The Atlantic, NY

Approached by New York’s The Atlantic magazine to illustrate a piece in support of an article written by Rania Abouzeid on the Beirut explosion.

Our archives were full of images dying to be used into context. We selected a vintage image of old Beirut framed with romantic flowers from the Middle East to captured the hay days of the 1960s overlaid by shattered glass that symbolized the massive pain caused by the August 4 destruction.
